Our Staff.

Senior Minister, Rev. Carlos J. Pérez

Rev. Carlos Peréz was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seninary in Orlando, and later ordained into te Disciples of Christ through the Florida Region. As a student pastor in Orlando for five years, he has worked with children’s ministries, small groups, hospitality ministry and a leader for a visioning team. His strengths are in teaching, pastoral guidance and pastoral care. He has a wife and three children. He has a long history with the church, demonstrates a true love for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and continually desires to serve the church.

Administrative Assistant, Dorothy Ashton

Having the gift of organization and administration is key to working in a church office. Dorothy joined this Disciple of Christ congregation in 1986 and she uses her God-given gifts of service daily in the church office. She loves the tasks of using her creativity and meeting people who come to the church office. From creating bulletins to managing emails and more, she is now in her 9th year of serving the church as Administrative Assistant to the Pastor and to the congregation.

Church Musician, Andrew Glennon

Andrew is a Stetson University senior who will be graduating in May of this year. Majoring in Music, Andrew has been accepted into a Graduate Study Program in Long Island, NY. Until then, Andrew provides first-class piano playing along with a joyous demeanor and smile that warms your heart.
